On creativity

I took a look at this video this afternoon and it struck a cord with me.  I have believed for a long time that traditional education stifles creativity.  This view may have been influenced by the fact that I was expelled from primary (i.e. elementary) school for being disruptive and refusing to color within the lines.

But I really do believe that everyone is born with a talent to be great at something and the only reason most people don’t realize their full potential is because our education system and the social pressure (from parents and peers) that is wrapped around it has caused us to go down the wrong path for us.  This video is not only amusing in the typical English style, it is very thought provoking.
